Priority Ambulance is pleased to announce that Xiomara Chevas has joined the company as Human Resource Business Partner for National EMS.

In her new role, Xiomara will oversee day-to-day human resources activities, including developing and overseeing the effective recruiting, screening, hiring, orientation, and onboarding programs for National EMS. Additionally, she will assist support staff with all coaching, discipline, and performance evaluations as well as monitor for compliance with company policies and local, state, and national regulations. She reports to Robby Atkins, Southeast Regional President.

She has a proven history in developing high-performing recruitment, training and development, and employee relation programs,” said Atkins. “She has the experience and the expertise to assist our growing team at National EMS in continuing to develop our collaborative culture. Xiomara will be an invaluable asset to our team, and we look forward to her contributions and continued success with the company.”

Xiomara has more than 17 years of experience in human resource management. Prior to joining Priority, she was the Human Resource Manager for Zinus USA, Inc, where she developed employee relations and recruitment programs to enhance the company’s workplace culture. She previously served as the Director of Human Resources for Encompass Group Inc, overseeing all HR functions, and implementing key HR initiatives that supported the company’s organizational goals.

Xiomara holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from Capella University.

Additionally, she is a certified Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM-CP) professional and holds certificates for HIPAA Training, Diversity & Inclusion, and Professional Human Resources.
