COMPANY HISTORY
- 1976
National EMS founded by Pat and Mary Ellen Atkins. - 1983
Secured the 911 EMS contract for Rockdale County and moved operations to Conyers. - 1993
National EMS become the first ambulance company in Georgia to receive national accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services. - 2009
National EMS contracts with Athens Regional Medical Center and St. Mary's Hospital to provide services to Clarke and Oconee counties. - 2015
National EMS develops community paramedic program through Piedmont Rockdale Medical Center. - 2018
National EMS joins the Priority Ambulance family of companies.
